uploading the curriculum to canvas
Tips
Add each unit, in its entirety, a day or two before it is needed. This gives students time to consider what to expect moving forward. It allows them to start coming up with ideas or prepare themselves for a content-heavy unit.
Label assignments as TEST grades in their title. For example: "Goal 1 Complete (TEST)"
At the beginning of each six weeks add an empty module with the title of the six weeks as shown.
Use the Assignments page to lock all assignments at the end of the grading period.
Keep all modules published for the entire year. This allows students to continue to reference past information when they need to review.
Combine sections of the same course, so you only have to create one assignment for all your classes.
