Final exam
For the final exam, students reflect on their body of work. They will also fill out a survey that will provide you with some data for evaluation of the course and personal reflection.
Students should organize their portfolio before the day of the exam.
If your district is like mine and students have to turn in their computers before the final exams, move this unit to the last week before they lose their computers or find some way to provide them access to computers on the day of the final. You could have them complete the writing on paper, but then you'll be stuck reading essays on the last day when you're trying to clean your room and get grades turned in. If you need something to give them on the actual day, the vocabulary page on their digital portfolios would be a great source for a short multiple choice test.
